How are the stories made?
Stories are generated on your iPhone with Apple Intelligence — nothing is sent to a server, and no one but your family ever sees them. Every story also passes a content safety check built for bedtime before it is shown.
What if my device doesn't support Apple Intelligence?
Fable always has a story ready. On devices without Apple Intelligence (or whenever it is unavailable), Fable personalizes stories from its hand-written library instead — same flow, no error screens, no waiting.
What's free, and what's Fable+?
The free tier is permanent and genuinely useful: three starter stories, then a fresh story every week, and your whole library to re-read anytime.
Fable+ makes story time unlimited:
- A new story every night — as many as bedtime needs
- Story series: continuing adventures, night after night
- A profile for every child in the family
- Family Sharing included
Fable+ is $4.99/month or $39.99/year with a 7-day free trial.
How do I cancel or manage my subscription?
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Fable+. You can also cancel from the App Store app. Cancelling keeps Fable+ active until the end of the paid period.
I re-installed the app — how do I get Fable+ back?
Tap Restore Purchases at the bottom of the Fable+ screen. Because purchases live with your Apple Account, no login or password is ever needed in Fable.
Where is my family's data stored?
Only on your device. Profiles and stories are saved locally and never uploaded anywhere — Fable has no servers, no accounts, and no analytics. Deleting the app deletes everything. See the privacy policy for the full picture (it's short, because there's nothing to collect).
